My Research Prject

Blog Post #6: write a blog post that gives readers some highlights of your research, some challenges, interesting facts or places, and what you plan to research next. This must be completed before moving on to the next step in the process. 


For my project, I chose to select a topic that is environment centered. I took a environmental class last semester and it opened my eyes to climate change. The climate is changing around us rapidly and it is warning the whole globe of the damage we have done. The highlights of my research include ways to prevent and prepare ourselves for rising sea levels, what we can do to stop this and how it is impacting the Caribbean immensely. 

Some challenges that I am facing is finding out about Puerto Rico personally. You can find so much news about what people are seeing that is happening but its hard to find the very people of Puerto Rico reporting the instance. Another challenge is keeping on topic, global warming may seem like a narrow topic but it is very wide.  Interesting fact I learned was that Puerto Rico is already in the process of protecting themselves from global warming. I plan to research how global warming is affecting USA and Puerto Rico. A highlight of my research is the ways people are preventing flooding.  Another challenge is being consistent with giving attention to the research project.
